How To Block Unwanted Email In Gmail’s Android App?

To block an email address:

  • Open your Gmail app.
  • Open the message of the sender that you want to block.
  • In the top right of the message, tap more icon (three vertical dots).
  • Tap Block (Sender).

To Remove Spam from the inbox:

  • Open your Gmail app.
  • Open the message that you want to report spam.
  • In the top right, tap More icon (three vertical dots).
  • Tap Report Spam.

Unsubscribe from a mailing list:

  • Open your Gmail app.
  • Open the email from the sender that you want to unsubscribe from.
  • At the bottom of the message, tap Unsubscribe or change preferences. If this option is not available then you can block the sender or report as spam.
